"POLYPOID LESION ON THE FOREARM"

Clinical history: a 48y.o. man present with a 2 cm. polypoid lesion on the forearm; the lesion is covered by epidermis and mobile on the deep soft tissue.
Microscopic description: the lesion is well defined in respect of the epidermis and the soft tissues of the hypodermis (pict. 1); it consists of monomorphic spindled cells with storiform pattern of growth (pict. 2) - (pict. 3) - (pict. 4) - (pict. 5) - (pict. 6).
There are no atypical forms and the mitotic index is low.
The immunohistochemical staining are negative with protein S100 and positive with EMA (pict. 7).
Electron microscopy shows micro-pinocytotic vesicles, basal lamina-like substance (pict. 8) and long cytoplasm processes with filaments (pict. 9).
