Clinical history: a 33y.o. woman has an endometrial biopsy for a clinical suspicious of polyposis.
Macroscopical description: 5cc, hemorrhagic, fragmented material.
Microscopical description: sections show endometrium without histological alterations and some polypoid fragments, which consists of glands in a stroma of spindled cells with eosinophilic cytoplasm (Pict. 1 - Pict. 2 - Pict. 3 - Pict. 4 - Pict. 5).
These cells are positive with immunohistochemical staining for Alfa-Actin (Pict. 6) and Desmin (Pict. 7) and they are negative for CD10.
