"NEOPLASIA OF THE VULVA"

Clinical history: a 27y.o. woman presents to the gynaecologist for the appearance of a nodule,superior portion of the vulva great lip. The clinical suspicion is of a Nuck cyst.
Macroscopical description: 5 cm, yellowish, elastic and semisolid mass with multi-lobulated borders (pict. 1 - pict. 2).
Microscopical description: the tumor consists of a spindled cells component (pict. 3 - pict. 4) with high mitotic index (pict. 5) and an epithelioid, tubular-glandular component (pict. 6 - pict. 7 - pict. 8) with intra-luminal PAS positive mucus production (pict. 9).
The epithelioid cells are positive with immunohistochemical staining for Cytokeratin (pict. 10) and focally for Vimentin (pict. 11).
