“URINARY BLADDER TUMOR”

Clinical history: a 80y.o. woman has a 2.5 cm lesion on the left lateral wall of the bladder. A bladder TUR is performed. In the clinical history the patient refers a kidney neoplasm.
Microscopical description: In the sub-epithelial stroma and in the muscle layer there are glandular structures consisting of clear cells with small, monomorphic nuclei (pict. 1 - pict. 2 - pict. 3 - pict. 4 - pict. 5).
These cells are positive with immunohistochemical staining for CK5.2 (pict. 6) and Vimentin (pict. 7) and they are negative for CK7 (pict. 8) and CK20
