Clinical history

Macroscopical description
Neoformation 1,1 cm in size, whitish in colour and with a hard-elastic consistency.
Microscopical description
a proliferation with infiltrating margins (Pict. 1 - Pict. 2)
characterised by small or irregular tubules, at times cordon shaped, separated by abundant stroma
(Pict. 3 -

The tubules were covered by a layer of endoluminal epitheloid cells and by an underlying layer of mioepithelial cells with a diffuse keratin squamous metaplasia
(Pict. 6 - Pict. 7 -
Pict. 8 -
Pict. 9).
Rare mitosis. Cells were positive with immunohistochemistry stains for p63 (Pict. 10)
and Ki16 (Pict. 11)
mainly in the basal epidermoid site and strongly positive for alpha-SMA in the stroma
(Pict. 12).
