MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER, 13rd AT THE SAN CARLO HOSPITAL, MILANO

Christmas was coming and Milan was full of busy people looking for the last presents. But as usual, the usual pathologists drove through the city in the busy traffic to meet in the Hall of the San Carlo Hospital.
The meeting had many interesting points.
It started with the presentation by Bio-Optica Company of new products for pathology.
Then dr. Ferrario from the Urology Dept. of the San Carlo Hospital presented an interesting and useful CD-rom about the kidney biopsy, produced by them with the help of the Anatomical Pathology colleagues.
The CD contains useful information on how to perform a kidney biopsy and about its morphological interpretation; it also has very beautiful images.
Dr. Ferrario informed the participants that in the near future the CD would be distributed free to the doctors who will request it at franco.ferrario@oscb.sined.net.

Then there was the discussion of the cases and finally a rich and tasty smorgasbord offered by the San Carlo Hospital Medical and Surgical Association.
