Minutes of the meeting held on February 14th, 2001, at the San Paolo Hospital, Milano

Dario Bauer starts the meeting showing some slides about the activity of the Association of the Pathologists of the Milano area and of the web site since their origin:

27 meetings with 842 participants
135 presented cases
1128 microscopic and macroscopic pictures on the web site
31176 accesses to the site with a median of 264 accesses/week (with a maximum of 800-900 accesses/week)
175 pictures of the associated pathologists
more than 65% of the accesses are from abroad, thanks to the presence of the English translation

Faravelli explains that the Association has finally become an ONLUS association, since the beginning of the year 2001 and it has been registered as an organising centre for formative activities at the Health Ministry and now they are waiting for the crediting.
This will enable the Association to give credits to the participants to the meetings.
Then the cases are discussed and in the end Dario Bauer and his daughter Anna offer tasty homemade refreshment.

The March meeting is also announced: it will take place in Camaiore where dott. Cesare Gentili, director of the Anatomical Pathology department of the Camaiore Hospital and enthusiastic supporter of the Association of the Pathologists of the Milano area, will offer an attractive week-end in Versilia: it will be very interesting both for the pathological and the cultural and gastronomic aspects.
The invitation is obviously not only for the pathologists from Lombardy and Tuscany but also for all those who would like to enjoy a relaxing week-end and the hospitality of the friends from Tuscany.
