Minutes of the meeting held on October 10th at Gallarate Hospital

The meeting opens on time in the small but pleasant Main Hall of the Nurse School of the Hospital.
Crivelli, our host, welcomes us with happiness and pride, underlining the coincidence of the “first time” of the Pathologists of the Milano Area in Gallarate and one year since the death of Prof. Carlo Ravetto.
Some of the participants remember with affection moments of their life with him: Bellomi as his fellow in the pass certificate examinations; Martinazzi as an important moral support in difficult moments; Spinelli, Clemente and Crivelli as his students.
Everyone then is ready for the presentation dedicated, as promised, to aspiration cytology cases: this, again, to remark how much Prof. Ravetto has been fundamental in giving significance and prestige to this practice, which, nowadays, is still undervalued and ignored by many, even young, pathologists.
We hope that this meeting would be a stimulus, even small, for a new flinging of the cytology. Therefore we invite everyone to always enrich our meetings with new cytology cases.
