Minutes of the meeting held on September 11th, 2002 - Niguarda Hospital

The usual little room of the Anatomical Pathology Dept. at the hospital is not any more sufficient.
Because there are so many participants, the Niguarda colleagues had to find a new and comfortable meeting site. The new venue is in Villa Marelli, Zara Avenue, Milano.
Everything is working at the best.
Faravelli updates the presents about the situation of the MCE credits. The Health Ministry accredited the April 2002 meeting, while the accreditation for the June-December meetings is still in process.
Giardini introduces the next meeting, which will take place in Sondrio on October 12th. On the web site there will be all the information to take part to the scientific meeting and to enjoy the leisure time.
Because of the success of the quiz on the cytological-histological correlation presented in Mantua during the July meeting, the well-known Lombard dermato-pathological group presents a quiz about the correlation between macroscopical and microscopical features of four skin lesions. Please, go and try the quiz yourselves and send us your result. All the participants performed quite well.
Then there is an innovation: a brilliant presentation by dr. Guffanti from Niguarda, a very experienced cyto-pathologist who shows us some of her experience on the BAL cytology.
Immediately after there is the cases presentation: all of them are very interesting.
But who was not there could never imagine what he missed not to watch the show performed by dott. Bonacina: he shows a very interesting case under the scientific point of view (case 5) as brilliantly as the best TV presenter. In the end there are lots of applause and he is asked by everybody to come again to one of the next meeting. We hope he won't take much persuading to come: he really entertained us.
