Minutes of the meeting held on December 11th, 2002 - San Carlo Hospital - Milano
The feared Christmassy traffic is surely less of what expected and this allows a punctual start of the meeting.
Because it is Christmas there is no better start than to introduce ACRA (The Association of Rural Cooperation in Africa and Latin America) an organization which works to change the difficult social-economical situation of the countries of the South of the world (if you would like to know more about it visit the web site www.acra.it .
This year ACRA produced a CD which has African and Latin American fables; the CD will be posted to everyone will give a contribution of at least 15 Euro to the Association (more information on the website or write to acra@acra.it ).
A lot of colleagues bought the CD.
At the end of the meeting the pathologists of San Carlo hospital offered panettone and wine from the Pavese Oltrepò, which induced our friend and colleague Arrigo Capitanio, under a snowstorm in Stockholm but connected via internet with the Itapat. web site, to cry a little bit for his far away country.
And in the end … the assault to the CME credits.
