MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON FEBRUARY 17TH, 1999
AT THE ISTITUTO TUMORI, MILANO
Twenty-eight participants from Niguarda H, S.Pio X Private H, INT, Melloni H, San Raffaele H, Policlinico H, S. Giuseppe Private H, Desio H, Sondrio H, Lodi H, Como (Valduce) H and S. Carlo Private H - Paderno Dugnano, attended the meeting.
In opening the meeting, Dr.Giardini briefly commemorate the professional and human figure of Prof. Corrado Schmid, who recently passed away.
Following on, Bio Optica - Milano briefly presented a new model of oscillating saw equipped with a suction device and taking the opportunity of the Carnival festivities, offered a yummy afternoon tea with " chiacchere and tortelli ".
It was also reminded that during the forthcoming month of June, an "anatomical-alpine "
week-end will be held at Codera - Sondrio. T.b.a.
Today, during the cases presentation and for the first time ever, two cases recently sent via e-mail from Dr. Pontieri ( Crotone H.) to Gruppo Patologi Milanesi and via the Leica Telepatology System, from Prof. Faraggiana ( I.D.I. Roma ) to Dr. Clemente ( S.Pio X Milano ), were discussed " in absentia ".
